A large paver patio with a curved brick seat wall and a stone fire pit with lounge chairs at dusk with warm string lights
How we work

Six steps from first call to finished work.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A smartphone with a blank dark screen on a patio table beside a coffee mug and a red brick sample in soft warm light
    01

    Call and schedule

You tell us about the wall, chimney, patio or idea and the timeline, and we set a visit that fits your day.

  2. A drafting table with blank drawings, brick and stone samples and a pencil in bright light
    02

    Visit and design

We walk the property, look closely at the masonry, show brick and stone samples and talk through the layout.

  3. String lines and wooden stakes marking a patio layout on bare ground with a pile of gravel base nearby in bright light
    03

    Measure and plan

We measure everything, write a proposal and coordinate any association approvals or permits.

  4. A red brick being set in a fresh mortar bed with a trowel on a half-built brick wall in bright light
    04

    Prepare the site

We mark the work area, protect lawns and plants, excavate and set footings and bases.

  5. A freshly jointed brick wall corner with a jointing tool and a wire brush resting on a scaffold plank in warm light
    05

    Build course by course

Our masons lay brick, stone and block by hand, checking level, plumb and spacing at every stage.

  6. A finished brick patio with a glowing fire pit and two chairs at dusk in warm light
    06

    Finish and walk through

We tool the joints, clean the faces, walk the project with you, share care tips and leave the site clean.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical project take?

The visit and measuring come first, then any approvals and material orders. Small repairs may take a day or two, while patios, kitchens and walls take longer. We give you a schedule with your written scope.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there for the visit and the final walk-through, and we keep you posted by phone or message in between. Please keep children and pets away from tools and ladders.

What should I do before installation?

Move cars, furniture and potted plants away from the work area, make sure we can reach the site and tell us about neighbors, pets and your association. We handle drawings and approvals coordination with you.
