Natural thin stone and manufactured stone veneer for house fronts, fireplaces, columns and outdoor kitchens, installed with proper moisture protection.
Stone veneer gives you the look of a stone wall in a lighter, faster, more affordable package. Natural thin stone is cut from real quarry stone. Manufactured stone is cast from concrete and color to look like it. Both can transform a plain wall into a feature, and both belong on entries, chimneys, foundations, fireplaces and kitchen bases.
How veneer is installed matters as much as which kind you choose. Water has to be able to drain, the backing has to be sound and the corners, joints and edges have to be finished neatly. We prepare the surface, apply the right barrier and lath, set the stone in full mortar beds and finish the joints so that the wall looks like built-up masonry.
Natural thin stone has real variation and a rich look. Manufactured stone is lighter, consistent and often easier to source. We show you both so you can choose with confidence.
A water-resistant barrier, flashing and metal lath protect the wall behind. Skipping them is the most common cause of failing veneer.
Stone is set in a full bed of mortar and pressed in, so it bonds well. Joints are filled and tooled for the style you chose.
Corner pieces, caps and sills finish the work. Details like these separate veneer that looks real from veneer that looks stuck on.
