Interlocking paver patios, paths and steps in many colors and patterns, installed over a compacted base for a surface that stays flat.
Pavers have become a favorite for patios and paths because they combine good looks with practical advantages. They come in many colors, textures and shapes. They are strong, they let you repair a small area without redoing everything and they handle freeze and thaw well when installed correctly.
The paver itself is only part of the story. What sits below matters more: a deep compacted stone base, a thin bedding layer, tight edge restraints and joint sand locked in place. We build all of these carefully so the surface stays flat and the joints stay tight through our wet winters and hot summers. Many families choose pavers because the surface can be opened up for a buried line or a new tree root and then relaid with no visible patch, a flexibility that poured surfaces cannot match.
Concrete, clay and natural stone pavers each have different looks and costs. We lay out samples so you can compare color and texture next to your house.
We excavate to the right depth, compact the base in layers and set the slope. Skipping depth is the most common reason paver patios sink.
Running bond, herringbone and basket-weave patterns look different and perform differently. Borders and soldier courses frame the patio.
Restraints hold the pavers in place, and polymeric sand locks the joints so weeds and ants have a harder time.

Poorly prepared ones can. A deep, compacted base prevents it.
Yes. That is one of their advantages.
Sealing can enhance color and resist stains. It is optional.
Textured pavers grip well, and we can recommend surfaces for wet areas.
